Before your arrival, here you will find the basic house rules and some practical details to ensure your stay at Aromatik Apartments is comfortable, peaceful and hassle-free.
Hi, I'm Arnau, your host at Aromatik Apartments. I've prepared these apartments with care so you can enjoy Girona comfortably, peacefully and authentically. The building consists of tourist apartments, so during your stay there may be other guests who, like you, are also on holiday and want to rest. Please treat the apartment and common areas with respect so we can all maintain a pleasant, clean and quiet environment.
Check-in and check-out
Before your arrival you will receive all the information needed to access the apartment. Please respect the check-out time stated in your booking, as I need time to properly prepare the apartment for the next guests. If you need a special check-in or check-out time, write to me and I will do my best to help you, as long as availability allows.
Respect for other guests
The building consists of tourist apartments and there may be other guests staying at the same time. Please avoid disruptive noise in the staircases, common areas and inside the apartment, especially at night. The other guests are also on holiday and have the right to rest.
No parties or events
Parties, celebrations, noisy gatherings or events inside the apartment are not permitted. The apartments are designed for rest, visiting Girona and enjoying a pleasant stay. If you want to go out, Girona has many bars and restaurants, but the apartment must remain a quiet space.
Quiet hours
I ask for special care with noise between 22:00 and 9:00. During these hours, please avoid loud music, strong conversations, slamming doors or any noise that could disturb other guests.
No smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment or in the building's common areas. This includes tobacco, electronic cigarettes and similar products. If there is a smell of smoke or tobacco residue, an additional cleaning charge may be applied.
Number of guests
The apartment can only be occupied by the people included in the booking. It is not permitted to accommodate additional guests without notifying me and obtaining prior authorisation.
Apartment access
Access works with a code, without physical keys. Before your arrival you will receive instructions to enter the building and the apartment. For security, do not share the codes with people not included in the booking. If you have any problem with access, write to me and I will help you.
Apartment care
Please treat the apartment as if it were your own home. Everything inside — furniture, textiles, crockery, appliances and decorative details — is designed to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. If something breaks, gets lost or stops working, please let me know as soon as possible so I can sort it out.
Cleaning
The apartment is delivered clean and ready for your arrival. Before you leave, there is no need for a deep clean, but I would appreciate it if you leave it in a reasonable state: used dishes washed or placed in the dishwasher, rubbish collected and no leftover food out of place.
Waste disposal
In the Barri Vell of Girona the waste collection system is special and can be somewhat complex for visitors. In some areas there are no traditional bins and a card is needed to use certain collection points. The most practical option during your stay is to use the small public bins found around the streets for small daily waste. Please do not leave rubbish bags in the entrance hall, stairs, building entrance or on the street. If you have a large bag or are unsure where to dispose of it, write to me and I will help you.
Towels and bed linen
Towels and bed linen are included for normal use during the stay. Please do not use the towels to clean make-up, shoes, bicycles, floors or other items that could permanently damage them. If you need anything additional, feel free to ask me.
Air conditioning, heating and lights
You can use the heating, air conditioning and lights normally. I only ask for responsible use. When you leave the apartment, please turn off the lights and climate control if they are not needed.
Bicycles
Girona is a city closely linked to cycling and many guests come with a bicycle. If that is your case, write to me and I will tell you the best way to store it depending on the apartment. Please be careful when entering and leaving to avoid damaging walls, doors, lifts or common areas. Washing bicycles inside the apartment is not permitted.
Pets — we are pet friendly
At Aromatik Apartments we are pet friendly, so you can come with your pet without any problem. I only ask that you let me know before or during the booking so I know you are coming with a pet. During the stay, please ensure your pet does not cause disturbance to other guests, does not damage furniture, textiles or common areas, and is not left alone in the apartment if it might bark or become anxious.
Security
When you go out, make sure to lock the apartment door and the building door properly. Do not open the door to strangers or allow entry to people who are not part of your booking. If any emergency occurs, contact the emergency services first and then notify me as soon as possible.
Cancellation
The booking has free cancellation up to 2 days before arrival. If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance, no charge will be applied. Cancellations made within the last 48 hours before check-in may be non-refundable. For bookings made through external platforms, the conditions stated on the respective platform will apply.
If something is not right, tell me during the stay
If something is missing, something does not work or you need help, write to me. I prefer to know about it at the time so I can sort it out, rather than discovering it after you have left. My goal is for you to be comfortable and enjoy Girona without worries.
